This still-life with a very innovating composition shows a larder with on the top shell right a bowl in Wan-Li Chinese porcellan, containing wild strawberries...
dendrochronological survey has shown that the painting dates most likely from 1613 onwards.
Comparison with dated works by Snijders also makes a dating around 1613-1614 more probable.
